Local processing

DeviceSpace is designed to process storage information and transfer files between your Android device and your computer on your local network. A cloud account is not required for the core workflow.

Permissions

The Android application requests access only to media and folders required for the features selected by the user. Android-protected application and system storage remains inaccessible.

Transfer records

The desktop application may store local transfer history, file paths, file sizes and checksums so transfers can be verified and audited.

Deletion

Deletion requires a separate user action. DeviceSpace should not automatically remove originals after copying.

Contact forms

Before launch, this policy should be updated with the exact contact-form provider, hosting arrangement and business contact details.
